We are a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt NGO in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
To inspire, empower, build, and mobilize strong voices and impactful actions to advance and preserve the human rights and human dignity of women and girls globally.
As an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council since 2022, we work to ensure issues that disproportionately impact women and girls are addressed through an intersectional gender equity lens via human rights awareness campaigns, trainings, advocacy, and partnerships - particularly locally.
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and center our work around the international human rights framework and its mechanisms.
Named in honor of SSGT. Vincent J. Bell, United States Marine Corps. (1983-2011), our work is guided and informed by our commitment to and respect for human rights, human dignity, inclusiveness, equality, and social justice.
Bell Global Justice Institute will be hosting a virtual panel discussion during the 69th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in March 2025!
SAVE THE DATE - MARCH 18, 2025
Our panel will focus on the theme of CSW69 - which is the review and appraisal on the implementation of the world's most advanced international policy on gender equality - the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action (1995).
We are going to do a deep dive on the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and how its implementation has advanced the human rights of women and girls of African Descent.
Our panel discussion is an Official Parallel Event of the NGO CSW69 Forum. To learn more about the NGO/CSW Forum - please click here.
